National Indigenous Training Academy - Ayers Rock Resort
Last week I had the opportunity to capture the graduates of the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA). Being part of such an inspiring event at Ayers Rock Resort, where trainees showcased their incredible skills and hospitality, was a real honour. Meeting Her Excellency, the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, NITA trainees, graduates and trainers reminded me just how powerful education and opportunity can be. I’m so grateful to have been there to capture such a meaningful celebration and the bright futures it represents.
Falls Prevention Alliance Australia
Sophie B had the privilege of capturing the launch of the Falls Prevention Alliance Australia at University of Sydney, where health experts, policymakers, politician Bob Carr and actor Michael Caton joined forces to call for change in falls prevention — and we are so proud that our lens was there to record every powerful moment.
It’s events like this — full of purpose, connection and authentic narrative — that remind us why we love what we do.
Alteris Woman - Melbourne & Sydney
We recently joined the Alteris Women roadshow in Sydney and Melbourne, capturing inspiring conversations and empowering moments alongside Jessica Brady. Each event celebrated connection, confidence, and the incredible stories of women in leadership.
Quest X Events - ICC Sydney
Sophie B Photography was proud to partner with Quest X as their visual team, capturing the energy and engagement of the event while showcasing our new interactive photo solution — delivering branded images live using facial recognition technology. It was an exciting step forward in redefining event photography experiences.
The Youth Partnership - NSW Parliament House
Sophie B Photography had the privilege of capturing The Youth Partnership VET Awards at NSW Parliament House, celebrating young leaders and organisations driving positive change across New South Wales. It was particularly special to see Darian Brooker from We, Future Leaders as the keynote speaker!
SSMRF Beachside Dash - Dolls Point
Sophie B Photography was proud to support the annual Beachside Dash with SSMRF, capturing the energy, community spirit, and incredible efforts of participants who ran to raise vital funds for local health research. It’s always an honour to be part of this meaningful event — helping to celebrate every stride made towards a healthier future.
Understanding Zoe
Big congratulations to Laetitia and Johan, the brilliant minds behind the Understanding Zoe app — an incredible initiative that supports families and individuals living with disability through education and awareness.
Recently, they took the plunge (literally!) as the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber “Shark Dive” winners, and it was such a joy to see their excitement and community spirit celebrated. Sophie B Photography proudly donated a branding session voucher, and we were thrilled to have Laetitia and Johan join us at our recent Brand ‘YOU’ Day at The Studio Sydney Group.

What to keep learning?
The SGSCC Smartphone Photography Workshops are back in June, and they’re all about helping you turn everyday snaps into stunning shots. I will help you learn clever composition tips including mastering lighting and editing. These hands-on classes in beautiful Cronulla will have you capturing moments like a pro. I am so excited to see what you’ll create!
