A very exciting month!

What a month! From an unforgettable outback road-trip and vibrant events to glamorous award nights, my camera has been busy capturing it all.

Enjoy this jam-packed newsletter with highlights from the last few weeks, including this fun photo of me taken at the Beanie Festival in Alice Springs.

Keep smiling 🙂

Alice Springs to Sydney Road Trip

I love to travel. In June, I embarked on an exciting journey from Alice Springs to Sydney in a Suzuki Swift, covering over 3,000kms in 12 days.

Here are some highlights from the trip included: The 2023 Beanie Festival in Alice Springs, exploring Coober Pedy, visiting wineries like Velvet and Willow, Yalumba, and Seppeltsfield, as well as enjoying the banks of the Murray River and experiencing a touch of Italy in Griffith for the very first time.

Materials Australia #apicam2023

As a photographer at APICAM2023, I had the incredible opportunity to capture the excitement and essence of the conference through my lens. The Materials Australia magazine with conference highlights and my photos are now available for everyone to see.

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood - Sarah and Heath’s Wedding

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the newlyweds, Sarah and Heath, who celebrated their special day in a unique way by donating blood at the Shire Blood Donor Centre in Miranda, symbolising their commitment to giving the gift of life.

The act of donating blood holds special significance for the couple, who have been regular donors and consider it an essential part of their lives.

Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation "Stepping Up to Close the Gap"

The “Stepping Up to Close the Gap” lunch held at Sydney Opera House on 15 June raised nearly $200,000, supporting equal access to care for regional and remote patients. MC Kevin Heath, a Butchulla man, led guests on a cultural journey, while speakers highlighted collaborations with local services to expand outreach care. The event featured music by William Barton and successful auctions for generously donated items.

Sutherland Shire Business Chamber

The SSBC Board (L-R): Terry Likidis, Sophie Brown, Brod Ivory, Joanne Costanzo, Damien Vella, Jeanne Zweck, Nathan Rigney.

Since early 2022, I have served as a Board Director of the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber, grateful to be part of such an active and enthusiastic Board.

Together, we have successfully hosted numerous engaging gatherings for the local business community throughout this year, with more exciting events, including monthly After 5s, still planned for the remainder of 2023.
