SBCC Chamber - Thank you
Thank you to the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber community for the past two years!
I am stepping down due to personal reasons. My husband, Jonathan Brown, was diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia and is now medically retired.
Since joining the Board, I’m proud of our many achievements, including growing memberships, gaining sponsors, improving systems, hosting successful events and winning awards.
I’ll remain an active SSBC member and I am excited about partnering with the Chamber as a Photography Sponsor at future events!
Dementia Australia Advocate
My Story
Jonathan’s recent diagnosis of Early Onset Dementia has certainly opened our minds and hearts to the reality of Dementia in our community.
Together, Jonathan and I have decided to be advocates for Dementia Australia and to help others by sharing our experience.
We are very aware that Dementia touches many people in our community, and you may want to keep up-to-date with the newsletters from Dementia Australia.
Jonathan also shared his story with the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF) and I had the privilege of creating the production for the EOFY campaign.

Shar’s Cards, led by the Recycling Queen, embodies a passion for recycling and upcycling. With 25 years of card-making experience, Shar creatively sources materials to craft affordable, unique handmade cards. She offers custom orders for personal and corporate needs, ensuring each card is made with love.
Sarah Rowan
Sarah Rowan, a top Australian Speed Painter, empowers individuals and organisations through creativity. With over 20 years of experience, she transforms blank canvases into thought-provoking art, often live and under time constraints. Combining her art with public speaking, Sarah pioneers a performance genre that challenges time and space.
Zeina Kara Ali
Zeina Kara Ali’s practice is an extension of herself, organising and expressing her thoughts and experiences. She consistently notices and finds beauty in the details of her surroundings. Having lived in several countries, Zeina deeply appreciates the beauty in diverse cultures and ways of being.
Events
We had the incredible opportunity to be the photographer for Hawaiian Airlines’ 20th Anniversary, the I Love NY Event by Linkd Tourism, and the VISIT USA Event. Capturing the vibrant energy and unique moments of each occasion was truly a wonderful experience. These events showcased the spirit of travel and exploration, and we are grateful to have been part of celebrating these milestones.

David Frith Plumbing - Happy 30th Birthday
This month, we’re celebrating David Frith Quality Plumbing Services’ 30th Anniversary! From their humble beginnings in 1994 to becoming a cornerstone in the plumbing industry in the Sutherland Shire and Sydney, their journey has been incredible. Cheers to three decades of hard work, innovation, and exceptional service, all made possible by the support of family, friends, mentors, employees, and loyal clients.
I cannot wait to see what the future has in store. Congratulations!
