Welcome to our April newsletter!
Ciao!
After a little time offline and overseas during December and January, I’m back in the studio feeling refreshed and ready for what 2025 has to offer. I was grateful for the chance to travel with family through Italy, France, Denmark, and Germany — a slower pace, lots of coffee, and plenty of time to reflect (with a few books along the way!) made for the perfect reset.
Now back in Sydney, I’m excited to reconnect, get behind the camera again, and bring some new energy into the months ahead.

Planning an event in 2025? Let’s chat soon!
If you’re hosting a corporate event, gala, celebration, or team gathering in 2025, now is the perfect time to start thinking about your photography. While it may seem early, many key dates—especially Thursdays to Saturdays—are already being snapped up (pun intended!).
Securing your photographer early means one less thing to worry about in the lead-up, and it ensures your event is captured with care, clarity, and the attention it deserves.

Here are a few things to consider when planning event photography:
- What key moments do you want captured? (Think: speeches, award presentations, candid mingling)
- Are there important guests or VIPs you’d like featured?
- Will you need photos for social media, internal comms, press, or future marketing?
- Is there a theme or mood you’d love reflected in your gallery?
If you’re thinking of hosting an event in 2025, I’d love to hear more and help you lock in a date. Let’s make it one to remember!

St George Hospital’s 130 Anniversary Gala Day 2025 – Doltone House, Sydney
Client Highlight - Emma Lagerlow
The festive season is here, and it’s the perfect time to capture the joy, laughter, and togetherness with your smartphone or a camera.
Here are some quick tips to make your holiday photos truly magical:

It was such a pleasure to work with the incredible Emma Lagerlow to photograph the promotional imagery for her powerful new book, Worthy & Wealthy. Emma is a mindset and money mentor who is passionate about helping women feel confident, empowered, and in control of their financial future.
Worthy & Wealthy is more than just a finance book—it’s a heartfelt, practical guide for women who are ready to break through limiting beliefs, build a healthier relationship with money, and create lasting wealth from a place of worth.
Emma’s vision, values, and warmth were a joy to capture through the lens, and I’m so proud to have been a part of this exciting new chapter.
Congratulations, Emma—you are lighting the way for so many!
2025 Local Business Awards
It’s that time of year again!
I recently attended the awards night at Star for Australian Small Business Champion Awards and was honoured to be a Finalist in the Photography category.
To top off a fabulous start to the year I’ve also been nominated for the 2025 Local Business Awards, Photography Category.
As many of you know, I started my little business in 2009, in an effort to create a business that would suit our journey as a family. Nearly 16 years later, I’m so proud of my small business. Most importantly, I’m so grateful for all of our Clients, and the images that we have been able to capture for families, wedding couples, small businesses and large corporations!
To be honest, I feel like I am only getting started!

Walking for a Cause - Memory Walk & Jog
What a special morning it was at the Dementia Australia Memory Walk & Jog in Cronulla! I was so proud to be part of this event, walking alongside my Jono and an amazing group of supporters, including Jacinta and Hegi from the Sutherland Dementia Alliance, and local representatives Jenny Ware MP, Federal Member for Hughes and The Hon, Mark Speakman MP.
Jonathan and I meet monthly as members of the Sutherland and St George Dementia Alliance Committee. We work together to help make our community more dementia-friendly—and it means so much to see that shared commitment in action.

This year we raised over $3,174 for Dementia Australia. Thank you to every single person who donated—WOW! Having our beautiful circle of family and friends walk beside us reminds us we’re not in this alone. This journey truly is a marathon, and your support means the world.
And of course, Bruce the Dog made an appearance too!
